Toothache Marine Park

Common causes of toothaches in Marine Park

Toothache Marine Park

Toothache Marine Park

If you have a toothache Marine Park, you can depend on us at the office of Michael I. Feinburg for timely treatment done with gentle care and with the benefit of specialized care and vast experience. Among the most common causes of toothaches, we have solutions for all of them, with the twin goals of relieving your pain, and making sure you can keep your tooth.

Cavities, especially large ones, can cause toothaches. The same is true if you lose an existing filling. And while both can be addressed by putting in a new filling, the truth is that every moment your inner tooth is exposed puts you at greater risk for complications and consequences as a result. In fact, all of the common causes of your toothache Marine Park are associated with the breach of your tooth’s normal protective barriers. If your tooth becomes chipped, cracked, or fractured, the same concern exists as with a filling. The way to treat the situation, though, is different. A damaged tooth requires the placement of crown to restore the tooth’s protection, and to give it back its strength and functionality. The most pressing concern when you have a toothache Marine Park, however, is that bacteria will get inside and result in inflammation or infection. If that happens, pain is likely to increase to a level that is excruciating, particularly when you apply pressure to the tooth or chew with it. Root canal therapy is needed in this instance. Our endodontist performs it with a bare minimum of discomfort for you. In fact, most patients report very little or even no pain at all.

At the first sign of pain in your tooth, don’t hesitate. Reach out to our office right away and we will have you seen quickly. Your toothache Marine Park is an urgent matter, and you deserve the high quality treatment that we are pleased to provide.

Root Canal Therapy Marine Park

Root canal in Marine Park

Root Canal Therapy Marine Park

Root Canal Therapy Marine Park

Our root canal therapy Marine Park may not be something you look forward to, but when you consider that it not only offers you relief for the unpleasant symptoms you’re experiencing, but also has a 90% success rate in saving your tooth, perhaps you should look forward to it. At the office of Michael I. Feinburg, it’s a comfortable procedure done with expert precision and gentle care by our dedicated endodontist, who specializes in root canal.

The most common cause of the problems that lead to our root canal therapy Marine Park is that your tooth has become infected. Ordinarily, your tooth’s protective layers shield it from the effects of bacteria, but that can change when you have a large cavity, deep filling, or a chipped or cracked tooth. Those layers become compromised. The pulp of the tooth is located inside, at the base, right next to the nerve. That’s where the infection is. Less often, the pulp can become damaged due to some kind of dental trauma. Among the symptoms that you may have, the most prominent is pain, especially when you chew or you apply pressure to the tooth. Other possible signs are sensitivity to hot and cold foods and drinks, gum tenderness, and tooth discoloration. Our root canal therapy Marine Park is one treatment option, and the favored one. Otherwise, the tooth would have to be extracted. Doing so, however, means that your smile is incomplete, your other teeth can shift and cause discomfort and misaligned jaws, and your ability to chew might be hindered. Tooth replacements are available, but require time, effort, and money.

With most patients reporting very little or no discomfort at all during root canal, this non-surgical procedure is essential to restoring your dental health. Call us right away to arrange an appointment.

Endodontic Office Marine Park

If you ever need to receive endodontic care, we urge you to visit us at our endodontic practice, Michael I. Feinberg. At our endodontic office Marine Park, our expert endodontist, Dr. Michael I. Feinberg, is the dentist to see when you need to have a tooth saved.

An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in saving teeth. At our endodontic office Marine Park, we make sure that all of our patients remain stress-free and comfortable. We have state-of-the-art equipment and use the most modern dental anesthesia so our patients remain pain-free during their endodontic procedure. Our dentist uses the most advanced endodontic techniques to help ensure a successful procedure. Our patients’ safety and comfort is always our number one concern. We offer a complete range of endodontic services at our office. If you have a tooth that has damaged or infected pulp at its center, our dentist can perform a root canal procedure. Root canal procedures are effective in saving teeth in over 90% of cases. Generally, when a patient has this type of problem, they have tooth pain that is consistent, or that occurs when they eat something that is hot or cold. There are many different reasons why a root canal procedure can fail. If this occurs, patients can have an endodontic retreatment at our office, which is a modified repeat of the root canal procedure. If our endodontist analyzes your specific dental situation and feels that this may be successful, this treatment can be provided. If you have tooth pain, but you do not know its cause, you may have a cracked tooth. Pain from cracked teeth can be very difficult to diagnose since the pain is intermittent, and the crack may not be visible. Our endodontist specializes in finding the source of your tooth pain, and then providing treatment for it. If you have a dental emergency involving a fractured, dislodged, or a false tooth, our endodontist will take all necessary steps to save the tooth. Our endodontist also performs surgical apicoectomies.

Marine Park Endodontist

Root canal therapy in Marine Park

Marine Park endodontist

Marine Park endodontist

Root canal therapy, or simply root canal, has come a long way. You may still think of it as something scary, but those days are over. With modern equipment and techniques, and especially as performed by a specialist like our Marine Park endodontist, you can be assure that the procedure will be a comfortable one, and that with a high success rate, you will be able to retain your natural tooth. At the office of Michael I. Feinburg, root canal is the solution for the pain you’re in, not the cause of more of it.

Root canal is required when your tooth’s pulp becomes infected. This is the part down at the base, next to the nerve. Ordinarily, your tooth’s protective layers keep out harmful bacteria. But a large cavity, deep filling, cracked or chipped tooth allow bacteria to breach those layers and get inside. Don’t berate yourself, though. Even the most diligent patient, who brushes and flosses daily, and gets a complete checkup and cleaning every six months, can end up needing the help of our Marine Park endodontist. The most obvious symptom is pain, which can range from mild to excruciating, especially when you apply pressure to the tooth or chew with it. You may also notice sensitivity to hot or cold foods and drinks, tooth discoloration, or tender gums. Time is important. The longer you go without treatment, the more likely it is that you could lose the tooth. Root canal is done under local anesthesia. You should feel very little or even no pain at all during it. Access to the pulp is had by drilling the tooth from the top. The injured pulp and nerve are removed, the canals are cleaned and disinfected, and then sealed. When root canal is completed by our Marine Park endodontist, you will have a permanent crown made and placed by your restorative dentist.

At the first sign of tooth pain, call our office and set up an appointment. We will get you in as quickly as possible.

Flatbush Oral Pain

Dental trauma in Flatbush

Flatbush oral pain

Flatbush oral pain

At our dental practice, we specialize in saving teeth. Our top-notch endodontist, Dr. Michael I. Feinberg, can help you if you experience dental trauma and have a resulting dislodged tooth. Additionally, if you are experiencing Flatbush oral pain, you should make an immediate appointment to come to our endodontic practice, Michael I. Feinberg.

At our practice, our endodontist can help you with Flatbush oral pain or by providing emergency endodontic care for teeth that have experienced trauma. Two common trauma injuries of teeth are when teeth are dislodged or avulsed. When a tooth is dislodged, it means that the tooth has been pushed back into its socket. This can happen when there is tooth trauma during some type of accident, or even sports participation. If the tooth is partially pushed out of its socket, our endodontist may be able to reposition the tooth. This will stabilize the tooth, and hopefully save the tooth. Our dentist will need to check that the pulp is remaining healthy, and if this occurs, no additional treatment will be necessary. But if our endodontist determines that the pulp is becoming damaged or infected, a root canal treatment will be required. Root canal treatment is effective in saving teeth in over 90% of cases; it can be performed while our patient remains perfectly comfortable in our dentist’s chair due to our use of state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, and modern dental anesthesia. When root canal treatment is necessary, it is usually started just a few weeks after the initial injury has occurred. At a later time, a permanent root canal filling will be placed and the root canal system will be sealed. When a tooth is avulsed it has been knocked out of your mouth. In this case, contact our office immediately and let our office staff provide you with the safest way to transport the tooth to our office.

If you have a dislodged or avulsed tooth, or Flatbush oral pain, contact our office for an immediate appointment.

Root Canal Procedure in Midwood

Midwood Endodontist

Midwood Endodontist

Here at the office of expert Midwood endodontist, Dr. Michael I. Feinburg, we are here to help you achieve the healthiest and happiest smile. One of the most common services that our Midwood endodontist provides is our root canal therapy procedure. Root canal therapy is typically used to repair a tooth with an infected pulp. Each of your teeth has a collection of soft tissue at its center that is referred to as its pulp. If your tooth is decayed, cracked, chipped, or damaged in some other way, then the pulp is at risk of exposure to any bacteria or other harmful substances present in your mouth at any time. This can cause infections that are painful and that cause further damage to your teeth. Some signs you may have such an infection include: moderate to severe pain in one particular tooth, greater sensitivity to especially hot and cold temperatures in that tooth, a gradual darkening or discoloration of the tooth, or any other changes that are out of the ordinary. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is important that you schedule an appointment with our Midwood endodontist as soon as possible. During your appointment, Dr. Feinburg will determine if you are in need of a root canal therapy procedure. During root canal therapy, Dr. Feinburg will remove the infected pulp. Next, we will carefully clean the area in order to remove any excess bacteria. Finally, our Midwood endodontist will seal up the tooth so that it is not at risk of future infection.

If you would like to learn more about what root canal therapy entails, or if you would like to learn more about any of the other many services that our Midwood endodontist has to offer you, be sure to visit Dr. Michael I. Feinburg’s main website. There you fill find a wealth of additional, detailed information about all that we have to offer you here. Brooklyn Emergency Dentist

Root End Resection in Brooklyn

Brooklyn Emergency Dentist

Brooklyn Emergency Dentist

If you are having a problem with a tooth, such as extreme tooth pain, you will want to see our endodontist. An endodontist is a dentist who specializes in treatments which are meant to allow the life of a tooth. At our endodontic practice, Michael I. Feinberg, our Brooklyn emergency dentist is Dr. Michael I. Feinberg.

When you have a tooth that needs emergency treatment after a root canal, you made need to have an endodontic treatment called an apicoectomy. An apicoectomy is also called a root end resection. This surgical treatment is performed when an endodontist needs to remove infection from the root tip of a tooth as well as from the surrounding tissue. This procedure is performed when an infection persists even after root canal therapy is performed on the tooth. A root canal treatment is effective in saving a tooth in over 90% of cases. However, there are times when additional treatment is needed after a root canal, including a root canal re-treatment or an apicoectomy. Our Brooklyn emergency dentist will need to perform this procedure when a tooth is seriously infected, and infection is found in the root tip.

When this procedure is being performed, our Brooklyn emergency dentist will make an incision in the gum tissue that allows the bone and surrounding inflamed tissue to be exposed. The damaged tissue can then be removed as well as the end of the root tip. Our dentist will then place a root-end filling which will hopefully prevent reinfection of the root. Then the gum is closed with sutures. The bone will heal around the root over a period of several months, restoring the tooth and root to full function. Our patient may experience some discomfort or even some swelling while the incision heals. This is completely normal, as can be expected with many different types of surgical procedures. Our Brooklyn emergency dentist will be able to recommend an appropriate pain medication, if needed. Without this type of emergency care, the tooth would not be able to be saved, and would need to be extracted. When you experience any type of dental pain it is very important that you come in to see our dentist as soon as possible. In almost all cases, the sooner treatment is provided, the more likely it is that the treatment will be successful and that your tooth will be saved. Saving your tooth will eliminate the need for getting a dental implant or other tooth replacement. For an appointment to see our endodontist regarding tooth pain, contact our office and let them know that you need to be seen on an emergency basis.
